ANDY
Andy Neary, originally from Ohio, has enjoyed Houston living since 2002. Although he had tended bar part time since 1996, he has been full time here at the BRB since 2006. He has a list of places around the world to eventually visit, as he loves traveling, but has very limited time for it. In his past, he had been extremely active in the theater, having acted, directed, designed lights, and done many other jobs necessary to get the show up and running. He loves spending time with his regular customers and getting to know new ones, especially if you're visiting from out of town. So stop in and see him!
BYRON
I was born and raised in Texas and currently reside in East TX, 120 miles north of Houston. I've been tending bar for 15 years. I attended culinary school at the age of 38 and am now a private chef in Lufkin, TX. My interests include, but are not limited to, outdoor activities, antiques, and vintage cars. You can find me behind the main bar every Saturday night.

DANIEL
I'm Daniel, Mama's daughter, "Miss Guatemala". I have been a part of the BRB family since I was hired as parking lot attendant quite some time ago. I then had the chance to become a barback and I love the choice I made because I love the customers I meet and I like making new friends. I have a smile that most everyone appreciates, crazy, silly, sometimes goofy, easy going, and most importantly, caring. Just me.
DAVID
I was born in Waterbury, Connecticut on August 7, 1967. We moved here to Houston in 1976. I went to Cy-Fair High School and graduated. I have a wonderful family and I have a lover (Joe) for 15 years. I have done different odd jobs, but I LOVE working at the BRB for 15 years as a bartender. I also work as a massage therapist and I'm going to school, but I enjoy working with crew at the BRB and entertaining with the customers.
ED
Ed started in November 2010 as secuity guard and parking lot attendant. He became acquainted with the gay community because of his younger brother, John, God rest his soul. He is a fun loving person and very respectful of all people who come to the BRB. God bless everybody and have a nice day.
MIKE
Michael has been working at the BRB since 2008 and loves his job. He previously started learning carpentry in 1998 building cabinets and from then his carpentry skill grew. In 2004 he went to Florida to help rebuild homes in the coastal city of Ft. Pierce and returned to Houston in 2007. He was working odd jobs until he found the BRB. He started as a parking lot attendant, became a barback, and hopes to become a bartendar.
ROBERT
Robert Harwood has worked as a bartender for the past 20 years in the Houston gay bars. BRB was the first bar back in 1991. He then worked at Brick's II, Michael's Outpost, and Keys West before returning to the BRB in 2006. His previous career was as professional dancer in theater and night clubs in the USA, Europe, and the Middle East. Now you can find him "on stage" behind the bar 4 days a week.
TOMMY
Hi, I'm Thomas Paul Bessire, "Tommie Sue" to all, and to so many I am "Momma". I was "adopted" by Walter Carter in April of 1989 from San Antonio as a full time bartender. I was moved into management within 2 years and dropped back to head bartender 2 years later, and still remain that way. I am told by the owners that I am a BRB "fixture". My family and friends are here in Houston. We all share a bond and I hope we will continue to do so. I may not remember your name, but more importantly I remember your face and your drink. I hold the longevity record for the bartender who has worked the longest in the same gay bar in Houston, 23 years and counting. All I know now is that I wouldn't change it for the world.
